Oklahoma City Tornado
 
The Oklahoma City Tornado of June 13th 1998 did spotty damage and injured 21 people. The twister was shown live by KOCO TV as it hit the station.

One television station reported two people lost their lives, however NWS and other news sources reported no deaths.

 
 
Mesocyclones (Rotating Thunderstorms), are tornado spawners. 1/2 mile west, this Meso bears down on Norman.
 
People fear tornadoes more than Lightning, but lightning kills more people annually than tornadoes.
